Jeff Smith's County Chevrolet: Oil Changes

Today’s smaller, technologically-advanced engines require proper lubrication to maintain maximum fuel efficiency, reduce wear, and improve overall engine performance. So when it’s time for an oil change, bring it to the people who know your vehicle’s needs best.

Oil Life Monitoring System

Modern engines feature modern conveniences. The GM Oil Life Monitoring System takes the guesswork out of when you need your next oil change. In some cases, the Oil Life Monitoring System might not indicate the need for vehicle service for up to a year. Check the engine oil level and oil life percentage. The engine oil and filter must be changed at least once a year and the oil life system must be reset. Our trained dealer technician can perform this work. If the engine oil life system is reset accidentally, service the vehicle within 5 000 km/3,000 mi since the last service. Our technicians place a reminder sticker in the top left of the windshield to remind you of the next suggested oil change.

For added convenience, you can also keep track of your vehicle’s oil life with the myChevrolet®, myBuick®, myGMC®, or myCadillac® mobile apps, as well as book your next oil change when the time comes.

Since lack of proper engine oil maintenance can potentially damage your engine, imposing costly repairs, we’ve made it easy to schedule an oil change.
