The 2022 Chevrolet Silverado arrives with more capability for towing and more ways to stay safe while doing it. It also has the most affordable price of any truck with more than 400 horsepower. This legendary pickup truck comes in multiple versions from the rugged Trail Boss model to the very luxurious High Country model.
The Silverado's secret is its lighter build and a stronger core. Military-grade aluminum lightens up the front hood, side doors, and rear tailgate. Yet the overall build is extremely resilient thanks to the generous use of high-grade steel. For greater aerodynamics, the integrated rear roof spoiler helps direct air downward. Air curtains direct air into the engine for cooling.

Silverado shoppers will be pleased to know that the 6.2-litre V-8 is available on more than half of the line-up. This includes the RST and Trail Boss editions. As a result, more Silverado drivers will command 420 horsepower. Chevrolet's 10-speed automatic transmission harnesses that power.
The Silverado RST can claim best-in-class tow ratings. When properly equipped, it can pull up to 6,078 kilograms. If you love off-roading, the Trail Boss editions add a two-inch suspension lift and Rancho mono-tube shocks. A locking rear differential helps the driver manage the trail.
A Performance Upgrade Package increases output to 435 horsepower and 469 lb-ft of torque. You can also choose the Chevy gas turbo with an eight-speed automatic. For diesel fans, a new Duramax turbodiesel cranks out 460 lb-ft of torque as low as 1,250 rpm.
Well-insulated from road-noise, the Silverado cabin offers a more refined ride than some rivals. Quality materials are well-integrated with the truck’s advanced technologies.
